Treatment Services

Caron Renaissance utilizes "the best of the best" clinical staff who are licensed, certified, and trained to provide the kind of care our unique treatment model requires.

Our clinicians have permission to be clinicians.

Every staff member at Caron Renaissance shares a knowledge and appreciation for the dynamics of 12-step recovery. Our clinicians understand that treatment should not simply be an inpatient imitation of 12-step recovery; rather, the best treatment is designed to remove the obstacles and barriers which have prevented someone from being able to work a program of recovery.

Even as the "primary addiction" or "drug of choice" is usually immediately evident, other addictions and forms of addictive thinking only emerge as skilled clinicians engage with the patients and watch carefully for other symptoms to surface. Thus something as simple as not writing home can be addressed as an example of self-centeredness, and the resistance to create a support system with their peers can reveal severe attachment problems.

We recognize that the connection among addictions and such psychiatric disorders as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorders is undeniable. Caron Renaissance offers specialized consulting and treatment services for these disorders. The entire program is clinically-managed, and staff support full recovery in these mental health-related areas. Our addiction medicine psychiatrist is an integral part of our clinical treatment team.

Each patient’s length of stay is clinically driven and is based on individualized assessments and treatment plans. Staff are able to assist patients in assimilating in “real world” situations by decreasing the intensity of their care while increasing levels of responsibility and self sufficiency. This proven approach reduces the potential for relapse by keeping patients in treatment during critical transition periods, like acquiring a job, going back to school, or rejoining their family.
