A word from the Director:

"Caron Renaissance provides individualized care using an Addiction Interaction Disorder Model. This model addresses the many emotional, behavioral, and psychological inhibitions to sobriety one may experience in the context of a longer course of treatment. Caron Renaissance emphasizes the maintenance of an alliance between the treatment system and the family system through the use of Attachment Disorder therapy.  This form of therapy is based on the understanding that attachment is a basic psychological and emotional need for all people. The therapy engages both patients and family members in learning healthier forms of attachment through interdependent relationships. Merging the concepts of the interactive model and Attachment Disorder therapy provides a core of support through dynamic, ongoing clinical interventions. The result is a therapeutic environment likely to succeed in challenging self-deception, teaching non-enabling, and fostering a conscious process towards a healthy 12-step interdependence."
