Telemedicine

Caron Renaissance is a leader in telemedicine services as they pertain to treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. Telemedicine is the use of medical information that is electronically transmitted from one location to another.  It is an emerging practice and widely regarded as an effective and valuable tool. Telemedicine enhances communication abilities and allows staff members to confer and consult with other experts in their fields.

At Caron Renaissance, we employ HIPAA-compliant telemedicine and teleconferencing services across all of our treatment programs.  Our admissions department uses teleconferencing to meet with referents and potential patients. The availability of telemedicine in our residence allows for more immediate contact between patients and medical staff, when needed.  

Caron Renaissance has had great success with its use of telemedicine. Opportunities for expanded applications of telemedicine are underway with the use of more portable devices.
