Caron Texas
Caron Texas is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which opened in July, 2010. It is an adult treatment facility and part of Caron Treatment Centers, one of the oldest and largest treatment centers in the country. Caron Texas serves adults and their families by offering gender separate and gender specific treatment for alcohol and drug addiction and co-occurring disorders.
Caron Texas treats the whole individual physically, mentally, and spiritually. The average length of stay for primary treatment is 4 to 6 weeks. Individualized treatment plans for each patient combined with individual and group therapy, therapeutic activities, daily lectures and continuing care planning are provided to each patient. With these tools, each and every patient is given the resources to help form a solid foundation for a life of recovery.
The beautiful 28,000 square foot treatment facility just 45 minutes from the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, sits on a 40 acre serene and secluded campus with numerous amenities including a fitness facility and swimming pool scheduled to open in October, 2010. The location and 40 bed capacity assures patients that care at Caron Texas will be private and individualized. Extended care options are available through Caron’s continuum in Pennsylvania and Caron Renaissance in Florida.
